Ewa.Bednarczuk "ebednarczuk" asked, "does anyone know why a
search of all indexed fields yields nothing and one for all non-indexed
fields works fine, even if various fields are indexed?"
Surprisingly, if one is thinking in terms of indexing databases, there
are only three "indexed" fields in RefMan: journal titles, author names,
and keywords. Those are "pre-indexed," yielding the drop-down lists of
possiblities.
Everything else is a non-indexed field.
Does this clear up the mystery?
PS: I'm glad to see the list back up, but it's been down so long it will
take a while for people to realize it and begin to answer questions
again. So don't feel ignored, you intrepid souls who have got us going
again...
