Subject: Defective Field entry on search
Author: mghahn (New User)

I just upgraded from RefMan10 to RefMan 12, and have encountered a most annoying change. In setting up a search, it used to be in RefMan10 that you could type the first two letters of a field and RefMan would immediately go to that field in the list so you could just hit enter and then go on (e.g., type "au" and "author" would be highlighted). Now, you cannot do that anymore. Typing "au" in the field sends the highlight straight to "User defined". Please tell me what I am doing wrong!!! Also, restore the field entry in the search parameter window to how it worked in RefMan10, where it was useful and useable!! Thanks, Michael Hahn
