Subscripts
Author: C Anthony Lewis    Posted: Thu, 13 Apr 2006 16:50:00 -0800

Hello,

I've been attempting to sort out the issue of using subscripts (e.g. in
the title field) and rediscovered Jytte Emanuelsson's advice from back
in 2003 (see below). I found the dll (riched32.dll) in the "system32"
folder and copied it into the Reference Manager program folder and it
would appear that subscripts now work properly.

However, it is not just a case of un-subscripting the text that is
subscripted but that should not be. It seems to be in a small font that
further subscripts (or superscripts) but does not return to a "normal"
font. My only work-around was to delete the text and retype it (or edit
via a text editor/word processor), which is a bit of a drag.

Is anyone aware of a better way to sort out incorrectly subscripted
text?

FYI, I'm using Windows XP and Reference Manager Version 11.

Thanks for any advice,

Anthony Lewis

Subscripts
If the text become small after using the subscript function, you miss
the file Riched32.dll.My file is placed in:
C:\Windows\System\Riched32.dll try to place the file into the Reference
Manager 10 installation directory: C:\programmer\Reference manager 10\..
Once the file is there, you should be able to un-super/subscript the
problem text. The file is a part of the

Office- package.
This answer I received from the RIS helpdesk in april 2003.

Best regards from

Product Reviews

"Overall, Reference Manager is an excellent citation manager. It is simple enough to be used out of the box and not too intimidating for a new user. Equally, though, it contains enough powerful features and customisation to satisfy advanced users."
Information World Review

"It's highly recommended for anyone needing a powerful reference tool."
