Dear All
Am 2 weeks from PhD submission. On all my documents proctie refs have
appeared something like this:
{quote "(Committee on the Political Economy of the Good Society 1997). {
Add in Procite\y\11\05\19\c: Procite\dababase(Committee on the Political
Economy of the Good Society 1997).
There is much more of the gobbledegook after the date information - I can't
cut and paste it because it seems to regard Outlook differently to Word and
it formats the intext ref ok. Biblio at end of chapter is also showing ok.
Would be v. grateful for a quick reply.

Urgent - Cite While You Write ProblemCathal,
Sounds very much like you have somehow got Field Codes showing when they should not be.
Go to Tools | Options on the menu bar, in the View Tab, take the check mark out of the "Field Codes" section. Then OK your way back, and exit Word and restart it. All should be well now.
Good luck with the dissertation.
Fred

Dear Fred,
A thousand thanks. That was exactly the problem - don't know how that box
had been ticked. All is well. Once again thanks for so prompt and incisive
reply.
Regards, Cathal Coleman
