Bizarre Procite for Windows v4.0.3 behavior

Just recently I installed the ProCite for Windows update to v4.0.3.=A0=20
All seemed to be well until this evening when I downloaded 100 or so=20
records from UC's Melvyl, many of them duplicates which I planned to=20
sort out later, for import in my database. This is something I've=20
done for years with very few problems.

Tonight, however, the import did not proceed well at all.=A0 Given the=20
number of records downloaded I was puzzled when ProCite reported that=20
17 records had been imported with none discarded.

When I looked at the records actually imported I found that in numerous
cases multiple records records had been imported into the same workform.
Meaning that in any single record of my database there were from one to
three or four of the Melvyl records. Each of the Melvyl records ends=20
with the ZZ terminator.

What gives?=A0 Has anyone else had this happen to them?=A0 Is it a problem
with v4.0.3?

Looking forward to your responses.

My apologies to the list for not investigating my Melvyl import woes more
thoroughly. The heart of the problem was a customized melvyl.cfg file that
had
lost its customization, ie the end of record terminator.

Once that was corrected the download imported perfectly.
