re: diacritical marks

try using the F7 key which lists all the various marks. Simply place the
cursor in the blank space and hit F7 and select the letter, insert and close.

** to show empty fields:
From the Edit screen select View, Configure Edit Records..., and
then mark the box that says "show empty fields" in the Fields
area.

** to use diacritical marks:
select Edit, Insert Symbol, click on the one you want.

I think I posted this before, but I can't find the response. My problem is
this: I fill out my workform, hit F9, and then remember I have forgotten to
include (e.g.) the translator. When I pull up the record on the edit
screen, empty fields have disappeared, I have no Subsidiary Author to
insert my translator. Is there any way to get the field back, or to copy
the record in such a way that the empty, unused fields re-appear?

Also, is there no way to put in diacritical marks on foreign-languae
entries? That's seems to basic to a program that presents itself as
academically-oriented.

When I upgraded to Windows, I switched from EndNote Plus to ProCite, but I
am beginning to wonder if that was a wise decision. Comments???
