This is the only solution I have found that works to move files from Procite-WIN to Endnote-MAC

When opening Windows Procite databases with the Mac version of Procite, one special requirement was to hold down the shift key when using the Open Database command (p. 202, first edition of the Procite for MacIntosh manual). Perhaps this unMac-like routine applies to Endnote for Mac as well.

If else fails, perhaps a colleague using Endnote for Windows could convert the Procite file for you and send you the Windows Endnote version. Perhaps that might be opened with more ease.

Hi Colleen,

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately it is not possible to do this under Mac OS X. The Procite files remain "grey" and i cannot select them.

Regards,
Gerben Zaagsma
