Dear MUG,
I checked out the Chaos site at http://www.mapleapps.com, but the one Maple worksheet
labeled simply "logistic map" is left at Version 5 and its html version is a dead link. I
downloaded the .m and .mws files but cannot get them to work as instructed. Does this mean
that MAPLESOFT takes no responsibility for maintaining its APPS site?
Meanwhile the worksheet closest to my goal does work, labeled
"Animated COBWEB diagram of the logistic map".
BUT it is not for me but a colleague who would like to see the same animation not for an
interval of starting values but a single starting value. I suggested that it would
probably be easy to modify the code to just draw the path of a single endpoint, but does
anyone have such a worksheet already working?
thanks,
bob jantzen
