Hi MUG.
Maple 8, VectorCalculus package:
Question 1: Does anyone know how to define the jacobian of a a vector field
AS A FUNCTION? In previous version of Maple I used a construction like
"JF:=map(unapply,jacobian([x^2+y,x-y^2],x,y),x,y);". JF(1,2) then gave a
matrix namely the jacobian at the point (1,2). It seems that this does'nt
work any longer with the Jacobian function of the VectorCalculus package.
Question 2: Is it possible to get the output of the VectorCalculus functions
as column vectors instead of the e[x], e[y] etc notation?
Thanks for any suggestions.
Regards
Wilhelm
