Dear MUG!
From Maple6 onwards one has the possibility to replace text in a
worksheet, see menue edit->find.
_However_ if a worksheet contains hyperlinks (as helppages do) which have
a visible-text and a link-text _only_ the visible text is affected. No
changes are possible to the link text.
Since the maple file format is of (more or less) fixed line
length, such text cannot be savely repleced by a usual editor, since they
may be cutted into two lines.
We had to write some maple functions (OK perl would have done it
more easy but on M$ OS its not standard) to do this (that was for maple
5 where no query-replace was availabe) and its still needed to be done by
oneself in maple 6,7,8.
? Is this a BUG or a FEATURE ?
WMI: please think about a change that the `link-text` is considered by
query-replace in maple 9 too!
