Programme Outline and Fee
Mon June 21st: Maple Basics + Graphics + Differential Calculus
Tue June 22nd: Integral + Multivariate Calculus + Graphics + Handling Data
Wed June 23rd: Linear Algebra + Modeling + Preparing Course Materials
Thu June 24th: Differential Equations + Graphics + Numerics
Fri June 25th: Discrete Mathematics + Algebra + Programming in Maple
Participants may choose to attend any three days for $400 or the
whole week for $500 with a $50 discount for registration by June 5th
Participants will be able to purchase Maple for their personal
computer for $100 plus applicable taxes.

Whats New: this year I will demonstrate Maple being used to solve
problems in algebraic geometry and to model cellular automata.
Plus I have some new visuals including two gems, one for eigenvectors
and one for the radius of convergence of series that I put together with
Alan Gold (University of Windsor) who participated in the course last year.

I will be giving a Maple course this August at SFU.
Teaching & Doing Mathematics with Maple

August 12th -- August 16th, 2002,
Monday to Friday, 8:30am -- 5:00 pm,

This will be the fifth year I have given the course.
