[MUG] PostScript Bug in Maple 6.02a Win 2k Pro
Author: Jeff Wright    Posted: Fri, 3 May 2002 08:38:29 -0700

>> From: "Jeff Wright" "jhwright"

In case you are suffering with getting a workable postscript picture out of
Maple 6.02a (on win2k pro, at least), your ps.dll file is bad. Replacing
the ps.dll file with the same-named file from Maple 6.01 seems to solve the
problem.

Another way to solve the problem is not to include titles in your plots.
(Of course all my plots are so clear and intuitive as to render titles
completely unnecessary - NOT!)

Product Reviews

"Without the Maple software, we would have to spend weeks generating the equations of motion for every experiment. Then the chances that we did it right would basically be near zero. There would always be a mistake somewhere. It is very difficult to set up a dynamic motion model by hand."
- Jean-Claude PiedBeouf, Ph.D Manager of Robotics, Canadian Space Agency

"Its very good - highly accurate and easy to use. The speed of Maple allows me to change equations and quickly reintegrate them into the application, so more possibilities can be explored to achieve the precise effect desired."
Shawn Neely, Senior R & D Director for PDI/Dreamworks
