Hi!
I use following System
Redhat 7.3
Kernel 2.4.18
glibc 2.2
and
Maple 6.0
Now. I get following message if I will start maple:
[root@nbstefan bin]# ./maple
/usr/local/maple/bin.IBM_INTEL_LINUX_REDHAT/mapleTTY: relocation error:
/usr/local/maple/bin.IBM_INTEL_LINUX_REDHAT/libc.so.6: symbol
_dl_sysdep_start, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file ld-linux.so.2
with link time reference
Is there a possibility to run maple 6 on my system?
I hope someone knows a solution for this problem
1000thx
steve

Yes. First, you have Maple 6.01, not Maple 6 (sometimes referred to as
6.0 or 6.00).
For glibc 2.2 based distributions, you need a workaround described in
http://www.maplesoft.com/support/Faqs/Maple6/Installation/4.shtml,
although you report a different error message...
