I will be giving a Maple course this August at SFU.
Teaching & Doing Mathematics with Maple
With Michael Monagan
August 12th -- August 16th, 2002,
Monday to Friday, 8:30am -- 5:00 pm,
Simon Fraser University (Burnaby Campus)
Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
This will be the fifth year I have given the course.
A short summary of the course outline is
Mon Aug 12th: Maple Basics + Graphics + Differential Calculus
Tue Aug 13th: Integral + Multivariate Calculus + Graphics
Wed Aug 14th: Linear Algebra + Algebraic Geometry + Preparing Course Materials
Thu Aug 15th: Differential Equations + Numerics + Graphics
Fri Aug 16th: Discrete Mathematics + Programming (fractals)
Participants may choose to attend any three, four or five days.
