I hope that's Maple V Release 3, not Maple 3.
You can download the updtsrc program for Maple 6 from
http://www.maplesoft.com/support/Downloads/updtsrc.shtml
This translates code from Maple V Release 5 to Maple 6.
Maple 7 and 8 are supposed to be sufficiently compatible with Maple 6
that they don't have their own updtsrc. But you might need the
updtsrc for Maple V Release 4 to Release 5 and updt3to4 for Release 3 to
Release 4, both of which are present in Release 5 (I don't know
if they are available for download). With all that, there's still no
guarantee that everything will work.
