OK, I've found out now, mainly through experimentation. I am off to buy
a book on VBScript this afternoon. Documentation on the web is not that
easy to sift through.

Hah! Don't think you're getting away with it that easily ... just as I've
finished an example, indeed!
BTW, have you downloaded the MS scripting help?

Hehe! Sorry about that. I have got the help, but I don't find it easy to
find my way through it. I had a look on the msdn site and looked at some
examples, but it took a lot of browsing and I could not find what I was
looking for. So, it has to be hard copy, I think.

Yes, hard copy is still a lot more manageable than soft. I hope you managed
to find something useful.
