How do I mix Greek and Roman symbols in mathematical
functions e.g. for curve plotting in Mathcad 7 ?
If I convert one symbol, they all convert.

How are you going about "converting" them? If you are changing the
format via the menus, you are probably changing ther setting for the
entire style (such as "constants" or "variables"). Instead, place the
edit cursor just ahead of the character you want to change and hit
<ctrl><g>. That will change just the one character.
