[MATHCAD] Greek letters in graph labels
Author: Y H Joe Au    Posted: Thu, 27 Aug 1998 16:53:26 +0100
I use MATCAD 6 Plus Professional and would like to include some Greek
letters in the labels for the x- and y-axes of my graphs. The
<Control>-G method does not seem to work.

Can somebody show me how to do it?

Many thanks.

I'm sorry but it seems to be impossible. It looks as if only the
character number is present in the string.
But you can do it in Axum.

What you can do is to turn on the number lock and hold down the ALT
key while typing a 2-3 figure code on the right-hand keypad. For
example, ALT+230 gives you a mu (?) and ALT+248 gives you the degree
symbol (?). You can find lists of these codes in the back of a DOS
manual. The down side is that you may not be able to find all of the
characters you require. However, something is usually better than
nothing!
