Mike,
Could you try changing your default or currently selected printer, and try
previewing again? Does the same behaviour reoccur?

Please respond to [mathcad] Print preview crash
ptscience.com
When I do a page preview, I keep getting an error panel followed by Mathcad
closing down. It is the same with any Mathcad file. I have the latest
Mathcad service packs. This is a brand new IBM Thinkpad 42p running Windows
XP. I have tried print preview on all resolutions with and without hardware
acceleration. I seem to recall someone else having problems in this area.
Any advice?

It may sound silly, but have you got a printer setup for your laptop?
Print preview doesn't normally work without a printer driver setup for
the computer.

Have you played with changing the video acceleration on your display adapter. Mathcad has lots of issues with graphics accelerators.

Samir,
Yes, this helps. My Minolta 3100 printer didn't work. Nor did my Adobe PDF
printer. I added a generic/text printer, but I only got Courier fonts. I
added an HP 4500 colour laserjet - and that worked. However, I sometimes see
strange characters on the screen. Perhaps it's something I ate.
