My sentiments exactly :-) The same package fell on my desk this morning from
Adept ( or is it Inept ?)
I'll stick with 2000 professional until I hear compelling reasons to upgrade
to a better product!

Subject: [mathcad] Mathcad 11! Platinum!! Limited edition!!!
I just got an advert on my desk offering me the above (OK, the factorial
excesses are mine). At least it stopped short of releasing it on coloured
vinyl, or in a picture bag, or in a collector's rosewood box with silver
intaglio ...
However, it would only cost me £199 as a reluctant upgrader. And it would
probably be worth that to me for the two Mathcad extension packs, if it all
worked OK. However, a little bird insists on reminding me that you don't
get owt for nowt, and that if Mathsoft are having to resort to tactics like
this to shift Mathcad 11, there's probably a good reason why I should
conttinue to eschew it.
Any opinions?
Andy
