Ironic, isn't it? Maple used to be the heart of MathCAD, and now we have
the less capable mpad for symbolics. I just got an earful this morning
about all the symbolic calculation failures in Mcad 14 that used to work
under maple.

Subject: [mathcad] Re: Maple upgrade offer
Hi
The offer was made in the UK only and was intended to introduce Maple to
Mathcad users for those people who would want the power of Maple in
addition to their use of Mathcad. Mathcad is not disappearing, but in
the UK we have quite a lot of Mathcad users who also use Maple. A cut
down version of Maple used to be the symbolic engine used in Mathcad.
Best Regards
