Hi,
have you ever needed or wanted to write something on a 2D graph with Mathcad?
The possibility to do so has been in and out in Mathcad. At present, that
is in version 2000, you can write something in a text block outside of the
graph and then drag it into the graph, but then the text is not attached to
any geometric object, and won't stick if you change the size of the
diagram. The location of the text cannot be controlled by computation.
I have a solution to this problem, which you can access via the WEB address
http://home.hia.no/~byrgeb/TextOnGraph/TextOn2DGraphs_ByrgeBirkeland.mcd
This is the file you need to reference to use the techniques in your own
file. There is also a file containing explanations and examples at:
http://home.hia.no/~byrgeb/TextOnGraph/TextOn2DGraphsRef_ByrgeBirkeland.mcd
Please let me know if anyone has a better solution, or if you find any
value in my solution.
Regards,
Byrge Birkeland

Dear Byrge,
When Internet explorer reaches the first http address indicated in you message
(below), it opens a locked sheet in mathcad which asks for a password. If you
would like to share your secret, can we have the key, please. The ref file
opened OK and it looks intriguing, so I'd like the first one, please.
Many thanks
