This is definitely a mismatch between MS and MS.
Go into the scrolling tab in Mouse Properties and remove the acceleration.

Subject: [mathcad] RE: Mathcad 11 - Wheel Mouse Causes Crash
I have found this, particularly with large files with images that are slow
to re-draw. It appears that something (Windows, Mathcad?) stores up a
number of up/down scroll commands, and if you just wait, the buffer runs
out, and you can then carry on as normal. Trying to correct the movement
just prolongs things.

Subject: [mathcad] Mathcad 11 - Wheel Mouse Causes Crash
Scolling using my wheel mouse cause Mathcad 11 to go into an "up and down"
autoscrolling motion which can only be corrected by crashing out.
I have complained about this before. The reply was to say it was a mouse
driver fault. (MS Wheel Mouse Optical).
Does anybody know a work around?
A note to Mathsoft - I won't be considering an upgrade to fix the problem.
Because of it, I am doing less work on Mathcad.
Best Regards
Andrew
