I have got Mathcad 2000, running on TOSHIBA laptop computer (2300 series).
The problem is that it can not make 3D graphics. Every time I try to
create one an error message appears : This program has created errors and
will be shut down by Windows. All other applications work well without any
problems. I have tried Win95, Win98, Win2000 and Mathcad 8 on the same
computer but the problem remains.

I had this problem for a long time (NB: I found no solution to the
problem). I also noticed that the system was able to plot 3d scatter
but crashed when any other format was used. I have since
upgraded to 2001 and the problem does not seem to occur.

Dear Fred
Since Matcad 2000 supports OpenGL (especially on 3D graphics), and because a lot of grafics card drivers have poorly written OpenGL drivers (and sometimes they don't support them at all), I believe that your problems are caused by the poor graphics card drivers of your machine OR by low memory of your graphics card.
A good suggestion would be to play with different color depths on the resolution that you are using, or change the resolution (usually lower resolution drivers are better written) and keep the same color depth. I am almost sure that in 256 colrs you will not encounter any problems.
I hope this helps to resolve your problem.
