Re: [MATHCAD] More on Hz units in Mathcad

Dear Bob,

My apologies for the tart remark but I've recently completed a piece of work
for a client which involved sorting out the mess of paperwork rules and
instructions framed over a 35 year period for prestressing system
maintenance. These had been converted from tons to tonnes to kips and any
combination of the three that you can devise - mostly inaccurately. It was
all very frustrating but had to be right as safety was paramount. This
experience has made me very sensitive to misused unit conversions - however,
as several users have already pointed out Mathcad does allow one to specify
one's own conversion rules - a practice I recommend to anyone.

Jim Irving (also retired once but still can't leave engineering alone -
especially arguing the toss!)
