Does anyone know how I can change the default behavior of the Evaluation
Style options in the Symbolics menu in version 8.02b? Whenever I open a new
worksheet, it is always set to 'Vertically, inserting lines' without
comments and I would like it to always be set to 'Horizontally' with
comments.
I've tried changing it in the normal.mct file, but that doesn't do it. I've
also looked in the manual, the help file, the release notes and the Treasury
electronic book. They all say how to change these options, but none say how
to keep them changed. It seems to me that I used to be able to do this in
versions <7, though I suppose I could just have been hallucinating. I would
appreciate any ideas that anyone has to offer; I'm probably just missing
something really obvious.
