How to uninstall multiple versions of Endnote on Mac cleanly?

Subject: How to uninstall multiple versions of Endnote on Mac cleanly?

I upgraded to X1 this year once the CWYW patch came out. After problems with X1, I hunted around to uninstall and try again. I googled uninstall Endnote and got only this: http://www.endnote.com/support/helpdocs/ENX-GettingStartedGuide.pdf These instructions are for Endnote X but likely also apply to X1. However, I noticed the old Endnote X folder intact in the Applications folder, along with X1. So, my question is: What is the best way to uninstall both X and X1 cleanly so I can attempt a fresh install of X1 and the CWYW patch for Word 2008?
