Subject: Re: "Marking" references in EndNote
When I need to do something similar with several thousand records, I
copy and paste each record that needs marking to a new library (a
fairly quick operation). When I am all finished, then I add a "$$$" to
and unused field of all of the records in the new library using the
"change/move" field option. Then I paste all of the records back into
the original library and do a duplicate search. This brings paired
sets of all of the records that I want to mark. Then I search for
"$$$" using the omit from showing option. This leaves showing all of
the records that I need to mark which can easily be done using the
"change/move" field option.
