Well, ISI ResearchSoft has decided not to make EndNote 8 compatible with
Word Perfect 12, nor are any versions previous to EndNote 8 compatible with
Word Perfect.
From their website, last updated October 7:
The EndNote 8 addin is not currently available for integration with any
version of WordPerfect. With the addition of Unicode, we were unable to
complete development of this feature. At this time we cannot offer any
further information on the availability of an addin for WordPerfect,
I was a former booster of ISI Researchsoft, and had been a user of EndNote
since version 1 for DOS. However, this may be the issue that turns me away.
My reason for posting:
1. I'm perfectly willing to go back to EndNote 7, but not to WP 11. Any
ideas/suggestions for where to go within ISI Researchsoft for how to get
some kind of WP 12 compatibility?
2. Failing #1, any suggestions for alternative bibliography software that
will work with WP12?
Thanks in advance from a 15-year user of the program...
