I meet connection problems to these databases (Architectural Publication
Index, RIBA - Art Abstracts - Bibliography of the History of Arts ) . For
example, Art Abstracts is supposed to be provided by OCLC First Search
according to the MIT catalog, and the only filters available, on the
software as well as on the Endnote site are provided by EBSCO and EDINA,
which doesn't work.
Impossible to find other databases, such as the Avery Index to
Architectural Periodicals, directly from Endnote, and then, the export
command doesn't work, whereas Avery suggests to format the data for
Endnote. (is there a Z3950 incompatibility ?).
Thank you for your help...

I can't offer much help on the first part of the question, as I haven't
tried to connect directly from within Endnote, but on the problem of
exporting from Avery, I've been able to make it work (after a bit of trial
and error).
I export from Avery (via Eureka--and so from BHA as well, as it's searchable
via Eureka--from UT Austin at least) to a disk file, marking the format to
be Endnote. But then from within Endnote, when I import, I select the
"Endnote Import" option and set the text translation to "Latin-1".
I'm using Endnote 4 on the Mac.
Hope this helps.
