"Journal| Volume (Issue), Year: Pages" seems to solve your problem.
My EndNote 5 Manual explains the "vertical bar" on page 361: "There is a
way to indicate a repeating seperator within a field in the filer. If you
place a verical bar (|) before the separator, this instructs EndNote to
read up to the last occurrence of this separator." In your case the
repeating seperator is the space.
