A relative newcomer to the field is Scholar's Aid. They maintain a web
site at:
http://www.scholarsaid.com/
I've heard good things from a few users, BUT, it's a much more narrowly
focused program than EndNote, supporting only 4 writing styles, with
no Z39.50 connectivity and, from what I can see, nothing like EndNote's
ability to import references from other sources. It's also Windows-only,
which is a big liability for me. Shareware, with various pricings
depending on status and quantity.
