How do I stop End Note 6 from always starting up when windows starts?

I had the same problems with getting rid off EN starting
automatically at every system start. I checked my WIN 2000
startup folder, but the only entry I Found was a shortcut to
MS Outlook. The solution: Outlook obviously initialises
(parts of) Word in the background, so EN comes up the same
as it would when Word is started directly.
Changing the CWYW preferences as Leanne Wiedemann suggested
(EN digest 1237) helped here, too.
