The question has again been asked on this list, how do you avoid truncation
of author names that contain a comma. I answered this in Dec 1999, and it
is simple enough that I thought it might ISI might have added it to the
manual or on-line help. It seems not.
>From the 1999 question, if the Author is:
NIH Consensus Development Panel on Triglyceride, High-Density Lipoprotein,
and Coronary Heart Disease
enter it in the EndNote database as:
NIH Consensus Development Panel on Triglyceride,, High-Density Lipoprotein,
and Coronary Heart Disease
Note the doubled comma. The first comma signals the end of the surname,
the second is the end of the first names, and the rest is appended text,
typically used for 'Jr.', 'III', etc. The entry as shown formats correctly
in most styles.
