If you are working with the Track Changes feature, be sure to set this to Final rather than Final Showing Markup. Once this is done, click the Update Citations and Bibliography command from the EndNote toolbar in Word. If that does not resolve the problem, I would suggest cleaning up the field codes in the document by following the steps found in this article: http://help.thomson.com/default.asp?portalid=TSC&article=81143 If you are seeing a reference list in the document after completing step 6, remove it manually before formatting your document using the Update Citations and Bibliography command.
