EndNote X on Mac keeps wanting to reinstall

I have run into this problem with 2 students so far and it is quite
frustrating. I do not have a Mac to play with and (thankfully) this
problem does not occur on the PC.

What happens is, they will install EndNote X for the Mac and everything
looks nice, Word has the CWYW toolbar, etc, but after a short while (in
one case, while trying to choose an import filter, I don't recall what
set it off in the other case)it goes back to the customizer to customize
the new installation (and insists you close Word). It does this
repeatedly. Is this a known problem?

Did you get any response? I have EndNote X on OS 10.3.9 and it works
fine. By way of contrast I could not get EndNote 9 to install properly.
