Dear Eric,
Did you send this plea to the technical support or just to the
usergroup? If just the usergroup, I suggest you also send it to the
tech support, where you will have a better chance of hearing from them
and getting them to post the solutions on the FAQ. That is absolutely
the RIGHT request. They don't really monitor the usergroup, but more or
less - let us get on with helping each other. When you do hear from
them, I would also forward the reply to the usergroup, so it gets into
our archives as well.
In my windows version with EN7/WordXP, I particularly find this
corruption to occur if track changes (especially multiple authors) is on
for an extended period of time, especially if they are not showing. It
is amazing, but perhaps not surprising, the amount of junk, ummm
information, endnote inserts into the fields, in order to support the
traveling library concept, and on top of that, if they have been
updated, this is duplicated/or even triplicated in a multi-authored,
tracked document.

Subject: Re: Endnote 7 also crashes my Word X
Mr. Ericson,
I am also experiencing frequent crashes and file
corruptions when using Word 2003 files and Endnote 7, especially in
documents that I have been working extensively on.
<del>
This has been happening since I have been using ver 7,
and is getting very tiring. I have been an EN user
since ver 2, but now am considering other options.
Please advise and post on your FAQ section since it
appears from all the users having this problem on this
string, it is a problem.
Regards,
Eric
