Does anyone have experience of working with large libraries? I have 15,000
references in my main library, which is now over 5 Mb in size. So far I
haven't had problems of speed, though my office PC (slower than my home
one) takes about 10 seconds to load the datatbase the first time I open it.
I have thought of dividing the references into 2 or more files but are
there disadvantages?

I regularly use a library of 30,000+ references. With a Pentium 4 computer
and plenty of RAM it works fine.

Disadvantage- you can only search one library at a time... stick with one.
