Hi Folks,
I'm setting up a filter to import data like the example below (Online
Contents, a Dutch scientific source). Everything works out just fine except
for the author names (field tags 3011 up to 3016 in the example). It is
clear that in the Author Parsing section the filter should be set at the
"First always precedes last" option for the name order (and Last and First
Name separator set as />

After the import action however, the Author Field reads as follows:
Enrique, Freud
Ian J, Cohen
Celia, Mor
David, Golinsky
Amir, Blumenfeld
Michael, Zer
Where it should read:
Freud, Enrique
Cohen, Ian J
etc.
Any other setup does not work either (always the same result). Who can help?
Seems like a bug. Did not get a response from tech support of endnote.com
Thanks in advance!

I had the same problem several month ago (... which really looks like a bug
in my eyes). Endnote's tech support finally suggested the following
settings for Author Parsing:
Name Order: First always precedes last
Last & First Names Seperator: Import As Is
After importing the reference the author field looks like
Enrique Freud
Ian J. Cohen
Celia Mor
David Golinsky
while first and last names are recognized correctly (e.g. in the author
term list or in reference lists).
Best regards,
inga
