Announcing the release of PocketCites v 1.3b1!
If you use EndNote on a Macintosh and have a Palm, you've probably
wished there was a way to either bring specific citations with you to
the library on your Palm, or enter citations on your Palm to later
upload to Endnote. With PocketCites, you can do exactly this.
PocketCites uses Filemaker Pro and FM Sync to transfer Endnote data
to Jfile on the Palm.
Version 1.3b1 makes PocketCites compatible with Filemaker Pro 5 and
Endnote 4, using either, neither, or both. A number of Filemaker Pro
5 and/or Endnote 4 users have asked for an early release, so I am
releasing it as a beta version immediately.
Version 1.2 fixes a bug related to importing records which caused
problems for some users. PocketCites now supports all fields in
Endnote's Generic reference type, thus providing for much greater
end-user customization. Documentation has been revised to reflect
changes and the release of FM Sync for JFile Pro.
Version 1.1 was a considerable improvement over the initial release
version 1.0. Many more features were automated, and less preparation
work is required. Preferences can be set to control import and
export specifics and other options.
Registered users updating to version 1.3 will be given a new
registration code at no charge.
