Heloo Nicholas,
The answer i yes. In EndNote 4 it is very easy to create links to
"any" source be it on the Internet, an intranet, a server or a .pdf
file your own machine. Select your reference and then choose Link toä
from the References menu. Locate the file you want to link to and the
link is created for you in the URL field of the reference. If you use
the new tool bar in EndNote 4 you can automatically tell from the
Open Link button if a reference has a URL link or not without opening
it. Very convenient.
The same kind of linking can be done in EndNote 3 as well although
not quite as easily.
