Subject: Re: more working stations Author: Leanne (Authority) Date: 03-04-2010 08:00 PM the library file can only be openned in the write mode, by one user at a time.  If it is write protected (ie Read Only) multiple users can access it at the same time.  Thus, we have two versions of our libraries.  One in a read only folder, which anyone can use, and the other in a read/write folder that authorized users can add to (but only one at a time).  Each evening, the write version folder is copied to the read only folder automatically by a script our IT people prepared.

That´s not very usefull - we are on the way to create a new system in our library. That means a lot of work and that would be good to be shared of more people at one time. You can assign read-only and read/write priviledges per user on a group level.
