Subject: edited style won't save

My APA5th somehow "lost" Personal Communication as an option. I've tried to add it, but when I'm done, I can't save it. The little box comes up asking if I want to save, and if I select yes, nothing happens. I am also unable to close the editing screen. In order to close the screen, I must select no, which of course cancels my changes. How do I get it to save the changes? thanks
