I am aware that the incompat. with word 2003 is an old problem that many had
already faced. Is it possible to fix? I already followed all the
instructions
gave by endnote web page to install the add-ins of EN7 and none worked! Can
anyone help me to fix this problem?
Best

Hi,
Everybody which is using Endnote 7 and its Addins & Templates in Word 2003
has the same problems. I spent a lot of time troubleshooting this, sent
calls to microsoft, resinstall my machine many times.... This is definitely
an Endnote problem. I could never reproduced that with more than 20 other
add-ins and over 50 templates I put in the startup folder. It has nothing to
do with Antiviurs software, nothing to do with word! Only with Endnote 7!!!
And there not the smallest reaction/feedback/statement from the Endnote
developpers! I'm so angry and frustrated! How long do we have to wait for
fixes from Endnote????

Funnily enough, my husband just upgraded to word 2003, and has no
problems. I haven't investigated why. I know he doesn't use the
short-cut keys, but his toolbars work fine, and he hasn't complained at
all about the "virus scan" lag problem, and I know he would if it
occurred! I also don't think he has the endnote library open
automatically when word starts up. He just opens it when he needs it.
Leanne.
