The only way to turn it off on an already created document, is to format
bibliography, and go to the Instant formatting tab, and hit the
"disable" button (if it says "enable" it is already off).

I'm using Word 2004 for Mac v11.2, EndNote 9.0.0, on a Dual 2.3GHz G5
running OS X 10.4.7.
I cannot turn off CWYW, either by accessing the preference dialogue from
within Word or EN.
Anyone encountered this?
I just trashed the ~/Library/Preferences/
com.ThomsonResearchSoft.EndNote.plist to see if this would help. It did
NOT.
