In word, you have field codes showing. In Word Tools>Options, on first
tab, untick the field codes box in the right hand column.

Situation is I am using Endnote in a word document and inserting
equations from Math-Type with field codes removed in endnote
Rather then the equation appearing in the word doc the following appears
[EMBED Equation.DSMT4}
However when I print the document prints the equation as expected
Any advice??
