Mac users:
The direct export feature from EBSCO's Business Source Premier database
does not work with Macs. :-\ I'm trying to write a filter that I can
post on the UC Davis library's website to enable Mac users to get the
same features that PC users do. I cannot write the filter to capture
YEAR information, no matter what I do.
Here is an example of a date display in BSP (EBSCO):
PD- 3/15/95, Vol. 105 Issue 7, p41
I've written the filter so:
PD- Date/Date/Year, `Vol.` Volume `Issue` Issue, pPages
Everything imports properly except the Date/Date/Year part. There is
nothing in either the Date or the Year field. I've tried rearranging
things and rewriting the filter to import everything into the Year
field, e.g.
Year/Year/Year
but nothing seems to work; the Date and Year fields remain blank.
Any suggestions?
