question on numbering of citations
Author: Tina Papoutsakis, MS, RD    Posted: Thu, 24 Jul 2003 15:19:55 +0300
hello. i would like to ask if anyone knows how to manipulate the
numbering generated by endnote so that if i need to start from number
say 52 and not 1 and go on w. the numbering. this happened to me =
because
i coauthor a chapter and the other person does not use endnote and his
part is before mine! so i am stuck. any suggestions? tina papoutsakis

Yasas, Tina.

If you're talking about the numbering of footnotes or endnotes then your
word processor generates those in the order in which they occur in the
text. It's nothing to do with EndNote and its reference numbers. EndNote
just provides (some of) the content for the footnote/endnote.

If I've misunderstood you, please describe in more detail what they problem
is when you're writing and why you are stuck.
