If the Manuscript Template feature is installed, it should be visible under the Tools menu in EndNote X5.0.1 for Windows. If the component is not installed, you should be able to manually install it from the Control Panel. 1. Close EndNote, Outlook and Word 2. Browse to the Programs and Features (or Add/Remove Programs) Control Panel. 3. Select EndNote X5 and click Change. 4. Make sure Modify is selected and click Next. 5. Click the plus mark [+] next to Word Templates/Addins 6. Click the menu to the left of "Templates for Microsoft Word" and select "Entire Feature will be installed on local hard drive." 7. Click Next and Next again to start the installation. When this is done, launch EndNote from the Start menu. If the problem persists, follow steps 1 through 3, but at step 4, make sure Repair is selected and follow the prompts to repair the installation.
