The output may vary depending upon the style guidelines for your respective discipline. If it's APA 6th you could probably use the Conference Paper reference type but modify the bibliography template to accommodate a phrase that identifies it was a poster session. For example, instead of saying "Paper presented at ____ conference" the phrase would be: "Poster session presented at [name of conference]". (Note: you'll also need to add a custom field to the reference type template to identify a poster session from a conference paper in order to "flag" displaying the correct phrase to appear in the bibliography entry.) If you aren't able to modify the reference type template and the bibliography template, you might consider manually adjusting the bibliography. This can be done when the document has been finalized. First make a back-up copy of the original document, then convert the open document to a text file which removes the EndNote field codes. With the field codes removed, you'll be able to manually change the bibliography entry to replace "Paper presented" with "Poster session presented".
